PHD’s goal is to bring Korea closer to the rest of the world through specialized translation services.  We believe that dedication to delivering the highest quality product is the only way to ensure our success.  In order to accomplish this, we hire only the best translators, technical experts, editors, and proofreaders available.  We work closely with our clients to make sure they maintain control over the final product.   Each document is sent twice through several levels of editing, with close attention to glossary development. It is through this system of expert staff selection, multiple edits, glossary development, and confirmation with clients that we can provide the highest quality translation possible.

Staff Selection

Prospective employees are given test translations, challenging their linguistic knowledge and understanding of both cultures.  They must also possess expertise in a particular area.  Once hired, our employees begin with small projects, gaining experience for more demanding work.  We ensure that the translator is not only capable of quality translation but also reliable at finishing projects on time.

Specialized Expertise

For each translation project, the translator is a specialist of the particular field of the translation project. For some very technical terms, in-house libraries and specialists of the fields are consulted.  We take only those projects that we feel confident we can deliver on time and in the highest quality that  our clients deserve.
